Family relocation to Dubai: we know how it feels

We, Daniel and Nicole, moved to Dubai with our own two children. So we know that when a family relocates, the company isn't the biggest worry. It's the questions behind it: Will the children get a school place? Where will we live? How does health insurance work? We help you tackle the steps in the right order.

What we take care of for you

  • Family visas: Your partner and children as dependants, coordinated with your own visa.
  • Schools and nurseries: Dubai has more than 200 international schools. We draw up a shortlist based on your criteria (curriculum, language, location, budget) and organise the appointments.
  • Home search: Support with your search and contacts to vetted estate agents from our network.
  • Health: Guidance through the healthcare system and contact with insurance partners. Health insurance is mandatory in Dubai.
  • Settling into everyday life: Driving licence, mobile contract, removal company and, if you wish, pet relocation or a nanny agency through our partners.

The order that works best

  1. 1School first, then the home. Good schools have waiting lists, and the school run in Dubai can be long. If you rent a home first, you often end up looking for schools in the wrong area.
  2. 2Apply early. Contact schools before you move, not after you arrive.
  3. 3Check your passports. All family members' passports must still be valid for long enough at the time of the move.

Which package?

The Plus package is designed for families: company formation, visa and Emirates ID for you, a school and nursery shortlist with appointments organised, and accompaniment to important appointments. Visa coordination for each additional family member is added on top. If you want it completely stress-free, we take care of entire days for you in the Elite package, including a driver.

Frequently asked questions

Is Dubai safe for children?

Dubai is one of the safest cities in the world. Many of the families we support name exactly that as their main reason for moving.

Isn't Dubai far too expensive for families?

The expensive parts are mainly housing and school. On the other hand, there is no income tax on your salary. Whether the numbers add up for your family is something we work out honestly with you in the first consultation, and sometimes the honest answer is: not yet.

And in summer?

June to September is hot, and life moves indoors: air-conditioned schools, malls and indoor playgrounds. The rest of the year, the children spend their time outside, and that's why most families stay.
