Company formation in Dubai: the right company, not just any licence

Applying for a company in Dubai is quick. The real question is a different one: which free zone, which business activities, how many visas? Everything that follows depends on it, from your family's visas to your bank account. That's exactly where we help. Since 2023 we have supported more than 300 entrepreneurs and families as they started out in the UAE, in German, English and Russian.

What we take care of for you

  • Initial consultation and needs analysis: What do you do, for whom, with how many people, and what are your plans for the next few years?
  • The right structure: Free zone, business activities and number of visas chosen to fit your business, so you don't have to restructure after a year.
  • Review of your documents: Completeness and formal requirements, checked before anything reaches the authorities.
  • Formation including your trade licence: We handle the formation for you. You don't need to travel to Dubai for the formation itself.
  • One point of contact for the free zone, authorities and partners, with unlimited WhatsApp support even after completion.

IFZA or DMCC: which free zone is right for you?

We set up companies in the IFZA and DMCC free zones. A mainland company is available as an add-on.

  • IFZA is the lean, flexible route: lower fixed costs to start with, several activities can be combined in one licence (for example consulting, marketing and IT), and you don't need your own office for the first visas. For most freelancers, consultants and small teams, IFZA is the first choice.
  • DMCC in Jumeirah Lakes Towers is a major business hub with a strong network, for example in trading. If your clients, banks or partners value a DMCC address, the extra effort and cost for office and licence is worth it.
  • Mainland makes sense if you work directly with customers in the UAE, for example in retail or on government contracts. Whether you need it is something we clarify in the first consultation.

How it works

  1. 1Clarity: In the free first consultation, we look at your situation and work out the right structure.
  2. 2Implementation: Once you give us the go-ahead, we prepare everything, check your documents and submit the application.
  3. 3On to the visa: Once the company is set up, the visa process starts for you and, if you wish, for your family. In the Plus and Elite packages, we coordinate it for you.

Company formation is often quicker than many people think. The visa, Emirates ID and, above all, the bank account take longer. We plan the entire process with you from the start, so that nothing is left waiting on something else.

What it costs

Our package price covers our service: planning, coordination, communication and preparation. Company formation is included in the Core package, and together with visa and family in the Plus package. Official fees and third-party costs come on top. You see them itemised in advance, and we pass them on without a mark-up.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a local partner who owns 51%?

No. In the free zones, your company is 100% yours.

Do I have to come to Dubai for the company formation?

Not for the formation itself; we handle that remotely. For the residence visa, you come to Dubai, among other things for the medical examination and fingerprints.

Will I stop paying tax once I have a company in Dubai?

The UAE does not levy income tax on your personal salary. For companies, a corporate tax with exemptions and allowances has applied since 2023. Whether and how it affects you, and when you are no longer liable to tax in your home country, is something a tax adviser will clarify. We can put you in touch with vetted partners, but we do not give tax advice ourselves.
